Who is Beta?
• Beta Tools is at the forefront of the production and sale of hand tools, shop equipment, and safety shoes to professionals. One has only to glance at the company's catalog to see that the product line stands in a class by itself. The 850 page hardbound catalog, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the industry, currently consists of 9,000 part numbers that are categorized into 24 families. Unlike its competitors, Beta Tools sells these products under one brand and offers only one type of quality: that being of the highest level.
• The family owned Italian company also produces a cable accessories line that it has marketed under the Robur brand since 1934. A recently introduced line of work-wear, Beta Works, places the company in the position to expand further into the industrial workplace.
1923 The Beginning
• Beta Tools is widely recognized as one of the great tool factories of the world. As with most great companies, the story of Beta Tools began with the vision of one man. It was during the 1880's when a young Alessandro Ciceri founded a metal forge in northern Italy. By 1923, the company had outgrown its original facility, so a partner was added, a new company, “Alessandro Ciceri & Figli”, was formed, and a new iron and steel cast manufacturing complex was built in the town of Sovico.
Quality Built In
• Beta Tools has, since 1936, been widely considered one of the world's most experienced and respected hand tool factories. Recognized worldwide by its characteristic orange color, Beta is still owned and managed by the founding family.
• The ergonomics, the precision, the finish and the materials all demonstrate unbeatable quality and an attention to detail that sets Beta apart from the others. The well-known durability of Beta tools owes as much to state-of-the-art manufacturing, as to the fact that the company is located in a region that produces some of the world's finest steel.
• Made famous by it's direct involvement in Grand Prix racing since the early ‘70's, Beta remains the brand of choice for international racing teams, a situation that openly validates the quality by putting the performance of the tools to their strictest test.
• All these successes have been achieved thanks to the ability and experience of the people working at Beta who have passed down their unique expertise from generation to generation.

Beta and Ferrari
• On January 8th, 2004, Scuderia Ferrari and Beta Tools announced that they had established a technical and commercial agreement. According to the terms of the agreement, Beta will supply the Formula 1 with the team's hand tool needs and, at the same time, the two organizations will co-develop new line of products bearing the famous Scuderia Ferrari insignia. The new partnership revives a relationship with a long and glorious history that traces back to 1975. Just as they do today, Beta management viewed this partnership as both an acknowledgement of the quality of the tools and as a vehicle for the development of technologically superior products. The collaboration was approached with the utmost devotion which was shown through the achievements of such outstanding drivers as Niki Lauda, Clay Regazzoni, Carlos Reutemann, Jody Scheckter, Gilles Villeneuve and Didier Pironi; all who thrilled the crowds and scored victories in the cars from Maranello. Scuderia Ferrari wrapped up four Constructors' Titles (1975, 1976, 1977 and 1979), during the sponsorship, as well as three Drivers' Titles, specifically in 1975 and 1977 with Niki Lauda and in 1979 with Jody Scheckter. The partnership came to an end in the early 1980's. Returning as Official Supplier to such a prominent team is a task that needs to be undertaken with enthusiasm, passion and steadfast reliability. The technicians at Ferrari are discriminating professionals who constantly aim for matchless performance and therefore require state of the art tools. Beta manufactures exceptional products which are the result of over eighty years of industrial commitment combined with thirty years of involvement in racing. The company's products are preferred by international motor sports organizations, such as Scuderia Ferrari, because they're perfectly suited for the high pressure demands placed on motor sports engineers.
